One of the avant-garde buildings that the city boasts is the Museo de la Ciencia -Science Museum-. The architectural project integrated the museum installation within the remains of the formerLa Rosa flour factory.
The idea was to recapture that industrial atmosphere that greatly drove the city’s development in the 19th century, while also creating a series of walkways to link the two sides of the city.
The result is a building with versatile rooms whose main objective is to unveil, in an engaging and educational manner, the significant and minor mysteries of science, with a strong emphasis on the importance of water as a fundamental pillar for the development of life.
